where jesus reigns

Apostle Ray (Apostle G) has served in the ministry for twenty-seven years. Prophet Richelle on the other hand, grew up with a rich foundation of the word and has served in ministry her entire life. During his time in ministry, Apostle G has served in several different areas such as senior pastor, evangelist, youth pastor, and associate pastor alongside his wife Richelle, who has served in worship since she was three, as well as senior pastor. At The Impact Center (TIC), they continually teach the partners and leaders to Keep it 100. In other words, keep it real. They refuse to sugar coat the Word of God or compromise His Presence for any man or any amount of money. There are seven foundational core values that they live by and expect the partners and leaders of TIC to live by as well: Submission, Obedience, Humility, Integrity, Unity, Honor, and Love. And that is exactly what you get from them.

True to his nature, Apostle G is not one to rest or stay still for too long. However, in February of 2014, under strict doctor’s orders, he obediently stayed home for four days. During that time God deposited the full mission and vision of The Impact Center. TIC initially began at a local hotel in Lawton, Oklahoma. The banquet hall that was being utilized had a capacity of forty people. After the first service, we had to start looking for other venues to house more people. Within three short weeks, God blessed TIC with its current location off of North Sheridan Road.

The Impact Center is located in zone two of Lawton, Oklahoma. At the time that we moved into the building, zone two was considered the worst area in Lawton. We knew that this location was a divine appointment from God. The Impact Center is not a church within the four walls of a building. We are the Ekklesia (The Church). Since The Impact Center has been established the crime rate has dropped significantly, per the advice of the Lawton Police Department. Apostle Ray began building relationship with The Lawton Police Department, city and education officials, various religious organizations, local businesses, media, and community outreaches. The Impact Center continues to grow by impacting those that the Lord leads to us on a daily basis. The seven steps to impact and bring wholeness into the lives of the church (people) are:

To ENVISION, ENGAGE, ENCOURAGE, EDIFY, ESTABLISH, EQUIP, and EMPOWER disciples to IMPACT one life at a time for the Kingdom of God.

In July of 2016, Ray was ordained and commissioned as an Apostle through Breakthrough Church by Apostle Kathy Holcomb. Likewise, Richelle was ordained and commissioned as Pastor. In September of 2017, Ray was acknowledged as an Apostle through Glory of Zion International/Global Spheres and Pastor Richelle was commissioned as a Prophet. In October 2018, Ray and Richelle were commissioned as Apostles through the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network (HAPN) at Church on the Rock by Apostle John Benefiel. Ray operates out of the office of an Apostle and Richelle operates out of the office of a Prophet. Apostle Ray and Prophet Richelle’s Apostolic alignments are: the late Apostle Jay Swallow,  Apostle Negiel Bigpond, Apostle Joan Swallow, and Apostle Chuck Pierce.

Ray and his wife Richelle have three children: Joshua Lee Garcia, Elijah Ray and his wife Sheridan Garcia, and Koreena Raychelle and her husband Jesus Velazquez. In addition, they have four granddaughters: Avah Grace, Elle Cori, Dani Ann, and Demi Paige and three grandsons: Axel Ray, Benenaiah Jesus, and Josiah Jesus. They also have many spiritual sons & daughters.

Unlike many, Ray did not grow up in church, in fact, he grew up in the streets of New York, enlisted in the army, and was stationed in Lawton, Oklahoma, where he met his wife Richelle Darby. Richelle is from the Kiowa and Comanche Tribes of Oklahoma and is the daughter of the well-known evangelist Geri Darby of the Darby Indian Singers and LouAnn Tippeconnie Darby . The Darby Indian Singers were the first Native American Gospel singers on The Hee Haw Show and The Grand Ole Opry. They have also travelled with A.A. Alan and R.W. Shambach to mention a few. Richelle is a direct descendant of Hunting Horse, the last scout of General Custer.
